For $150 contribution, you can be a part of Rosie's Gala and see a spectacular tribute to Chita Rivera, performed by Broadway's finest, including Bebe Neuwirth, Christine Ebersole, the new Broadway cast of West Side Story and Rosie's Broadway Kids!
Ticket buyers will be seated at 9 PM. Tickets do not include dinner or auction. Proceeds benefit Rosie’s For All Kids Foundation and Rosie’s Broadway Kids.

It is days like this that I wish I lived in (or even CLOSE TO) NYC!
I think it would be great if there were a raffle. The prize could be tickets to Rosie's Gala, tickets to the "ROSIE Live" show and a couple of nights in a hotel. If Rosie advertised it on her blog, she could sell 4,000+ tickets in a week! Charge $25 per chance, and that would be a quick $100,000 for RBKids!
I like a raffle instead of an auction because that way everyone gets a chance and everyone gets to contribute to the charity. With auctions, ONE person pays a whole lot and wealthy people always win!. With raffles, lots of people contribute and everyone has an equal chance. Plus wealthy people can just buy more chances if they want to.
Just a thought...
I hope the Gala is a huge success! Good luck to everyone involved.

I wished we were going. Maybe next year Rosie can think about including Deko and Posh as guests at the event.
